Birdies is an online platform offering gourmet frozen meals and artisanal products. By using our website, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and capable of entering into a legally binding agreement.
2. Orders & Payments
All prices listed on our website are in South African Rand (ZAR) and include VAT unless otherwise stated. Orders are confirmed once payment has been successfully processed. Birdies reserves the right to cancel or refuse any order due to payment issues, stock availability, or unforeseen circumstances.
3. Delivery
We currently deliver every Wednesday. Free delivery applies to orders over R1 000, and a R55 delivery fee applies to orders below that. A minimum order value of R250 is required. Delivery times may vary based on location and external courier factors.
4. Returns & Refunds
As our products are perishable, we do not accept returns. If your order arrives damaged, incomplete, or incorrect, please contact us within 24 hours so we can arrange a replacement or refund. Full details can be found in our Returns & Refunds Policy.
5. Intellectual Property
All content on the Birdies website — including logos, text, photos, and product descriptions — is the property of Birdies and may not be copied or used without written consent.
6. Privacy
Your personal information is treated with care and used only for order fulfilment, delivery, and communication purposes.

RETURNS AND REFUNDS
At Birdies, every meal is crafted with care — and we want you to love what you receive.
Because our products are freshly prepared and perishable, we unfortunately cannot accept returns once your order has been delivered.
If there’s ever an issue with your order — such as an incorrect item, damaged packaging, or quality concern — please reach out to us within 24 hours of delivery. Our team will review your concern and, where applicable, arrange a replacement or refund.
To help us resolve it quickly, please include your order number, details of the issue, and a photo if possible.

ORDER CANCELLATION/MODIFICATION
At Birdies, every order is freshly prepared and carefully packed — which means timing is key!
If you need to cancel or modify your order, please contact us as soon as possible at
Cancellations or changes can be made up to 24 hours before your scheduled delivery day (Wednesday).
Once your order has been prepared or dispatched, we unfortunately cannot accommodate cancellations or changes.
If something unexpected comes up, please reach out — we’ll always do our best to assist where we can.

NEWSLETTER
If you want to receive our newsletter, we simply need your email address. No other data is necessary.
We use your address exclusively for sending the requested information and don't share it with any third parties.
Permission to store the email address, as well as the use of it for sending the newsletter, can be withdrawn at any time via the "Unsubscribe" link within the newsletter.
