Birdies is a creation very close to my heart and it’s been an incredible journey of creativity, connection, and growth.

Born from a love of meaningful moments, Birdies helps people spend less time in the kitchen and more time with those they care about. Our vision is simple — to make everyday moments more meaningful by supporting local suppliers, championing female founders, and promoting self-care and connection.

Outside of Birdies, I’m a qualified CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® and Private Wealth Manager who’s passionate about empowering others — especially women — to build confidence, pursue their dreams, and live with purpose.

Hi I'm Kirsty - Marketing and Brand specialist. I’m passionate about more than just food — I love bringing our brand and ethos to life. For me, it’s about celebrating women-led businesses, empowering local makers, and ensuring every touchpoint reflects our heart and purpose. Birdies is more than meals; it’s a movement of care, community, and connection.

Jamie - Finance & Sales Manager

I’m Jamie Hadley-Grave, a Chartered Accountant (SA) and the man behind the numbers—accounting, tax, and compliance. I was drawn to Birdies because they’re so much more than a food brand. Beyond serving delicious meals, they empower women across South Africa through their women-led supply chain network. Every meal has purpose, every bite tells a story of impact. My personal Birdies go to - Gogo’s Lamb Curry Bunny Chow.
